Denmark-based SaaS data protection and backup provider Keepit on Monday announced that it has raised $50 million, which brings the total investment received by the company to $90 million.
The latest funding round was led by One Peak and EIFO (Export and Investment Fund of Denmark), and it will be used to accelerate product innovation and the company’s growth.
Specifically, the money will be used for expansion in key markets such as the United States and Europe, as well as other high-growth regions.
In terms of product enhancements, Keepit plans on adding broader workload coverage, and more data management and intelligence capabilities.
Keepit’s platform is designed to make it easy for enterprises to back up and protect valuable data. Its benefits and capabilities include five-minute setup, instant restore, job monitoring, API support, customized retention, access control, audit logging and compliance, and data monitoring.
The platform covers several major enterprise apps, including Zendesk, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Microsoft services such as 365, Entra ID, Azure DevOps, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
“Keepit’s focus on cloud-native, vendor-independent data protection is what sets them apart,” said EIFO’s Jacob Bratting Pedersen. “This investment is not just a financial decision for us—it’s about supporting a company that is revolutionizing the way organizations think about data security.”
