Collaboration is key—work closely with other teams across the organization, not just within your department. Don’t hesitate to experiment; innovation often comes from trying new approaches and learning from the results.
For instance, when we developed our new customer loyalty system, I collaborated with infrastructure, IT operations, development, and store operations teams. Together, we designed a customer registration screen on Microsoft RMS to avoid wrong or duplicate entries. This system now runs smoothly across 160 stores without issues. Using Docker and Jenkins, we created an efficient environment for the in-house app, ensuring seamless customer data syncing with the HQ. This cross-team collaboration was critical to the project’s success and highlights the importance of working together to drive innovation
